After School Programs
The PTO sponsors an after-school chess club:
Chess Club is open to children in grades 1-5. There is a beginner and an advanced section as well as opportunity for competitive play. The sections are led by instructors from the National Scholastic Chess Federation. Fall, Winter and Spring sessions are offered for a fee. There are scholarships available.
