The International School at Rogers Magnet

In the fall of 2009, The International School at  Rogers Magnet will become a "six-to-six" interdistrict magnet school with before and after school enrichment programs starting at 6 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. The school will accommodate 560 students in Kindergarten through sixth grade. In 2010, the seventh grade will be added and in 2011, the eighth grade, for a total of 720 students.

This is an exciting time in the history of Rogers. Read our brochure about Stamford's new Environmental Magnet School or our fact sheet for an overview. You can also watch our video, which was especially created to demonstrate the unique qualities of our school as it takes shape to become the "green school for global citizens."

In Fall 2007, The International School at Rogers Magnet proudly received the honor of being the recipient of the Lone Pine First Annual Fairfield Academic Gain Award.

The Primary Years Program defines the characteristics of students who are aware of and sensitive to the experiences of others. These create the student profile, which comprise ten attributes defining students as:
Inquirers
Thinkers
Communicators
Risk-takers
Knowledgeable
Principled
Caring
Open-Minded
Well-Balanced
Reflective
